Senior Data Engineer
CLE, OHAre you an experienced Data Engineer looking for a change? Do you want to work with cutting edge technology for an established Fortune 100 company on a fully remote basis? Our client is looking for a Data Engineer to help develop, maintain, and enhance the capabilities of their data platform. You’d build out data pipelines to support data science models to enable automated data processing and increased efficiency. You’d also help support packaging and deploying models to production, and developing the infrastructure for model training. This is a great opportunity to interact directly with Data Science, IT, and Business teams to help them minimize the time from idea inception to analytical insight. Candidates must have experience with AWS (S3, EC2) and Python.. This would be a remote position, but would generally follow an EST schedule.

Required:
– Experience working with Python and AWS (S3, EC2)
– Experience with a variety of relational and non-relational databases and data sources
– Experience building components of data infrastructure solutions that will interface with traditional RDBMS, NoSQL systems, object stores such as S3, HDFS, or Pub/Sub systems. Data may be in various formats. Systems may be on-premise, in the cloud, external APIs or vendor data.
– Knowledge of at least one good tool for effective and performant tabular data manipulation (e.g. Pandas, Dask, Spark, or SQL)
Plusses:
– Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration frameworks and related tools a plus
– CI/CD automation, e.g. Jenkins or ADO
– Experience with analytical databases, snowflake
– Terraform
– Docker
